I referenced this from a screenshot of "The Deep Blue Sea".
Again, trying to achieve that oil painted look..
Tell me what you think!!!
I Just LOVE your work
It's very beautiful.
that's Rachel Weisz from The Deep Blue Sea right?
Thank you so much!!
I have to admit that this was the first of your pictures that Iīve discovered, and I am completely awestruck by it.
Your drawing and painting style is fantastic. I love how you try to get that "oil painting" look - which I have tried several times, but always failed miserably. Also the way you paint hair...stunning; it just looks like I could actually run my fingers through it.
I also really like that the overall picture has this shade of blue, as if the background was reflecting onto Loki and the lovely lady.
But thereīs something about that picture that actually speaks to me, and I cannot really grasp what it is.
Maybe itīs that sense of...delicacy I get from it.
The way she has her fingertips behind his ear, how heīs softly leaning forward, in a way that appears almost shy to me...
And I could totally imagine Loki being shy if he meets the person who truly knows how to speak to his heart.
A highly emotional and beautiful piece of art. I love it!
Loki often shows hints of a softer, more emotional side in the movies, and I can really imagine him showing this side with the right person, in the right circumstances.
OH! The shadows on that hand! Such a glorious hand and shoulder plate! That little light shimering on it that draws the eye! And there is so much melancholy in this picture! Almost as if they both knew this was their last kiss. She has a little of Sif's features. I like it.
AND THAT HAND!! Never before in my life have I been so fascinated with a hand. This is driving me completely mad!
Lord i better get out of here.
