The Most Popular Characters at DeviantART
Have you ever wondered who the most popular characters are at DeviantART?
I liked danlev (https://www.deviantart.com/danlev)'s recent post on Trending deviantART Search Terms in October. It got me thinking about popular characters on DeviantART in terms of deviation count. I'm going to need some help with this research project.
Help Wanted, Reward Offered
Search for a character and submit the number of deviations found. You can post a screenshot or just put the number in a comment. Find a Top-10 character and get 100 points:points:. Find a Top-50 character and get 10 points:points:. Each person that faves this journal will get 1 po

DA volume 1 - DeviantART anthology
DISCLAIMER #1!: This is not an official DeviantART project and DeviantART will not be involved in making selections or in processing any royalty payments.
I have always loved anthologies. Growing up in Britain 95 percent of the comics were weekly anthologies so it has been firmly ingrained in my psyche.
I've always felt that anthologies are a good platform for experimentation, trying new ideas and styles, introducing new talent and especially good to read in the bathroom. I'll never forget the impression Heavy Metal had on me when I first saw it.
They're perfect for those moments when you've read through the 100 comics you've bought that
CREATED BY…?
Two words that define so much in a persons head, not so much about who did/does what but, about who created the whole character, the concept, the supporting cast…
Picture this (in an awesome Rod Sterling voice); a talented artist sits alone in his studio wanting to be appreciated for his ideas as well as his artistic talents. On his drawing board sits a rendering of a superhero. This character is dark and brooding, like any good piece of art it speaks volumes. HEAVY METAL - DeviantART issue by DeevElliott, journal
HEAVY METAL - DeviantART issue
Okay... We played a little last year about doing a collaboration between Heavy Metal and DeviantART. We got some guys on the back covers, we got a few articles in the mag, but we need to step up the game a little.
It is so hard to get your work published these days and thank god Kevin
Eastman understands that. So having put together some special issues of
Heavy Metal recently I pitched Kevin on forgetting the idea of a few
DeviantART pin-ups or a gallery...
Instead we'll do an entire issue of Heavy Metal from the DeviantART community. Yup, 100 pages of dA goodness wrapped in slick glossy paper. We're going to aim for an issue as soon
To show my appreciation to my watchers, each week I'm featuring one selected deviation from each watcher in chronological order.

Dendroa is a monarchy with harsh laws. Slavery is forbidden but every citizen has to contribute to the well b

Commission - Approach and Pricing Guide
Do you do commission work? Do you have trouble to get customers in order to buy commissions from you? Or Are you in a dilemma to set your own "competitive" commission price?
If your answer is "yes" to any of the above questions then you are at the right place! Today, I'll tell you (or at least give you a better idea) how to start up with your commission work and setting up the right price.
